These numbers are a personal estimate, not an official document. Every institution has its own rules for weighting, rounding and honors, and some programs also add points for a thesis, for finishing on time or for study abroad. Check with your registrar before making decisions: if the two disagree, your institution's calculation is the one that counts.
FocusSea saves your courses, updates the simulation automatically after every grade, and adds a timer with weighted focus hours, goal tracking, and — if you want — real-time study sessions on video with other people. Free, no ads, EU-hosted data.

The standard US 4.0 scale: A/A+ = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, F = 0.0. Some schools use slightly different scales (no +/- grades, or a 4.3 max for A+) — check your institution's official policy if you need an exact transcript match.
Given your total degree credit hours and the cumulative GPA you're aiming for, it calculates the average GPA you need across your remaining courses, accounting for what you've already completed. If the number needed is above 4.0, that target isn't reachable with the credits left — try a lower target.
